Shadow event gathered artists to work with light to create shadows in ESKUS (Performance art centre) in Suvilahti. Works, experiments, experiences and interpretations of shadows were created utilising material and body. The event´s timing was aligned with seasonal traditions which embrace light, like the Lucia-celebration, which is a celebration of light in the dark season. For this event the light is harnessed to create shadows.

The event consisted of experimental shadow-theater, light-shadow-works and installations, and experiences of being in the shadow. The art works were mostly improvised from different recycled materials and combinations of miscellaneous objects.

The exhibition is 16.12. - 14.1.2013
