ERROR LIBRARY
Error Collective created a library installation out of cardboard, pallets and discarded books. The books are redistributed and repurposed as insulation, visual material, and olfactory stimuli. The installation is a satellite work to Error Library in Polymer Culture Factory.

Inside Error Bibliothéque you are immersed in the visceral world of the printed page, the musky odor of old books, the textured differences in binding and text blocks, the mark of time and space on these discarded texts re-presented as an homage, an atmospheric space dedicated to the age of print. Several books were signed out from the library - continuing their journeys across the world. The installation was adopted into a local school´s library and the library chair was placed in the center of Cuges-village.

Error Bibliothèque was made in contribution to the Nomadic Village project in Cuges-Les-Pins, France during September 25th to October 7th, 2013.

Errorists for Error Bibliothèque:
Päivi Raivio (FI) and Justin Tyler Tate (CA/US/EE).
